It Rained Colored Glass and She Died She stood by the window after the explosion and watched the golden shards of glass rain down to the street below, sun reflecting on each one changing from yellow to gold and strange shades of green. Mesmerized a horse to fire, she died. Her coworker begged her to run for the stairs but unable to move, she chose to die in the rain of fire. He escaped down 59 sets of stairs to the lobby and the street below. Her image imbedded in his head and when he left me it clung like a cancer to my soul.
